The following groups qualify for education discounts: Students, current faculty/staff members, academic institutions and non profit organizations. There are also commercial, or non-academic, discounted products available for purchase and noted in the product description.

Students are required to submit a scanned copy of student ID, or timetable, to complete an order. Faculty and staff are required to submit proof of education status or affiliation with a school. School purchase orders will be accepted. No order will be shipped until an Student status is verified. We reserve the right to hold all orders pending student/faculty verification.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, Money Orders, Checks (Cheques) and school purchase orders.  For orders being paid by check: The product(s) ordered will not ship until check is received and processed.

Applicable Taxes: We try our best to calculate the appropriate sales tax at the time you place your order online. If necessary, we will add the sales taxes (state/province/local) to your invoice upon completion of your order. 

RETURN POLICY

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by idesignsol.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less 20% restocking fee. If the return is a result of our error, you’ll receive a full refund and we'll also pay the return shipping costs. Items should be returned in their original product packaging.

Receiving a Refund

Your refund will be issued once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect to receive your refund within 4 weeks of receiving the return (though in many cases you'll receive the refund sooner).

This time period includes:

  • 5 to 10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper 
  • 3 to 5 business days for us to process your return 
  • The time it takes your bank to process our refund request (see below for specific guidelines)

Non-Returnable Items

idesignsol.com does not accept returns of the following items:

  • Computer laptops, desktops, and peripherals more than 30 days after delivery 
  • Any product missing the serial number or UPC 
  • Downloadable software products 
  • Any opened product.
  • Software that has been registered and/or activated.
  • Gift cards 
  • Pay As You Go (or prepaid) technical support services

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item to iDESIGN Solutions Inc. (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. 

Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at iDESIGN. 

Large Items Shipped By Specialty Carriers

We are happy to accept returns for large items that are shipped via our specialty shippers. These items do require a special type of return and cannot be returned with a pre-paid return mailing label like standard shipments. If you need to return an item shipped via a specialty shipper, please email returns@idesignsol.com and request the return. We will follow up with instructions for returning the item. Note: Any return that is not the result of our error will be subject to a return shipping fee which will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping Policy

We ship packages within Canada and the USA via Purolator, UPS, or Canada Post.  The shipping company used depends on products purchased and your location.

Shipping charges will vary depending on how fast you want your shipment to move and when you want it delivered. These charges will be added to your invoice.

The default shipping method used is Ground Service.  You may choose Express delivery for next day or 2 day delivery.  Please note: Product shipments may be delayed due to product availability, student/faculty verification, or any delays at customs.

Purolator, UPS and Canada Post offer online tracking, which is available at their respective sites. 

Limited products ship to the U.S. or internationally at this time.
