iDESIGN Education Sales Representative - Western New York

iDESIGN Solutions is a Value Added Reseller focused on selling Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) education solutions, including; 2D and 3D design software, VEX Robotics Classroom Kits & Parts, 3D Printers and teacher training.  The company is looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial sales professional with experience selling technology solutions to the education industry. This position requires you to work from a home office.

 

The Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Promote iDESIGN product line with specific focus on VEX Robotics and 3D Printing to education market, by phone, email, in-person and direct mail. 
  • Drive new business by generating new leads and following up on these leads.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals. 
  • Assist with marketing and planning of events.
  • Attend trade shows and VEX Robotics events on behalf of iDESIGN.
  • Schedule/prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospects.
  • Prepare and send product literature for leads and follow up.
  • Update customer database with new contacts as well as update current customer information. 
  • Assist with customer service.
  • Visit key accounts. 

Skills/Qualifications:
Customer Service, Self Starter/Motivator, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales

Job Requirements:    
•    Minimum of a College diploma or certificate
•    Minimum of 2+ years of experience 
•    Minimum of 2+ years customer service
•    High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building 
•    Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and customer relationship management software
•    Experience in a sales position or technology industry preferred.
•    Knowledge of technology education industry (VEX Robotics and 3D Printing) is an asset.
