Are you an enthusiastic, customer service and results oriented individual who would enjoy providing inside sales and sales support for a growing company?

iDESIGN Solutions is an educational reseller of industry leading design software and robotics technology. We need an Inside Sales Person to join our team to focus on the education market, in Canada and the USA, and grow our customer base. The education market segment includes pre-engineering, engineering, robotics, and media & entertainment programs at the secondary and post secondary level.

The Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:

    Reach our customers by phone, email and mail to promote our product lines and close sales.
    Drive new business by generating new leads and following up on these leads.
    Prepare quotations and proposal for software licensing, hardware, and training resources.
    Promote attendance to road show and training events.
    Assist with marketing and scheduling events.
    Prepare product literature for leads and follow up.
    Update customer database with new contacts as well as update current customer information.
    Assist outbound sales people to close sales.
    Assist with customer service.
    Opportunity for outside sales, such as visiting customers, attending trade shows, etc. are available.

Job Requirements:

    Minimum of a Community college diploma
    Minimum of 2+ years of experience
    Minimum of 2+ years customer service
     High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
    Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
    Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    Experience in a sales position or Technology industry preferred.
    Knowledge of Autodesk technology an asset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

iDESIGN consultants are tasked to deliver the highest quality professional services and technical sales assistance. The primary responsibilities of this position are consulting, implementation and training services primarily related to Autodesk design applications.

This position requires the ability and willingness to:

Assist clients in the adoption of new technology thorough classroom instruction, mentoring, follow-up technical support and related activities
Provide software- and industry-related technical presentations at seminars, workshops, and client sites.
Create white papers, recorded technical presentations and other forms of intellectual property to support iDESIGN’s sales and implementation efforts
Demonstrated willingness to rapidly and independently expand technical skills (such as software knowledge) on a continuing basis

Essential Skills and Abilities

College diploma in an engineering-related discipline.
Strong communication and client service skills.
Strong presentation skills
Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
1+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, in education or a design environment.
